There is no need to tip taxi drivers, but other tips are normally around 10 per cent.

Liberia has an average temperature of 280 C to 380 C. (100°F). throughout the year. It is hot and humid in general. On the coastal region, there is a constant breeze which effectively reduces the temperature. Annual rainfall in the coastal region is 200 inches whereas in the interiors, it is 70 inches. The wet season is from April to November when you can expect torrential rain in the coastal areas. Humidity maximum can be 82% during the rainy season and 78% in the dry season. The winter period is quite dry marked by hot days and cool nights. Dry, dust-laden winds blow from Sahara deserts during this period.
Visas are required for all visitors except nationals of Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Republic of Korea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo. Ordinarily, visas are good up to 6 months from date of entry.
