- Fada – A small oasis town nestled in a beautiful area with weird rock formations and several fascinating grottos containing cave paintings, most over 5000 years old.
- Zakouma National Park – the park is home to some rare wildlife species not common in many game reserves in Africa. Wildlife Tourists and adventure-seekers can have a field day as the reserve is abundant with activity. However, wildlife here has greatly suffered at the hands of the poachers.
- Faya – One of the largest oasis towns of the world, located in the centre of the Sahara desert north of N’Djamena. Recommended only for the really adventurous.
