Commissioned in mid-1994 with the intension to preserve the rare bio-diversity and wildlife, Mokolodi Nature Reserve is a private game reserve situated 15 Km south-west of Gaborone, capital of Botswana. Originally, a conservation area, the reserve is run by the Mokolodi Wildlife Foundation and it’s nestled on 30 km sq of donated land 15 km.
Mokolodi Nature Reserve houses a reptile park, animal sanctuary, wildlife rehabilitation centre, permaculture garden, elephant baths and crocodile pond.
